Heyo reader, it’s Zamar! I know that Christmas just passed therefore New Year’s is right around the corner ! But before I started talking about the 2020 New year,Let’s rewind to Christmas !
So, this year it was just my family and grandmother (Mee Mee) spending Christmas together, but usually my aunt, uncle, and their families would come as well . We always have a blast but since they weren’t coming this year I was honestly a little nervous. [ And I’m pretty sure that you have felt this way before.] It was like seeing the same people I everyday but in a different way. This time of year always makes me appreciative and grateful for my family oh…and (shout out to “Santa” & “Mrs. Clause”). I know for some people this could be a hard time of the year but you are not alone. Talk to people about how you feel, forgive and open your heart and love…because isn’t that God’s greatest commandment?
Make some family traditions! (Unless you already have traditions, then pass them on to the next generation). Back to family traditions; right before we open our gifts and eat dinner on Christmas Day we always say what we are thankful for. Then this year we started a tradition of caroling around our neighborhood, since we caroled with our church we decided to bring it to our home. However, I was nervous when we started but by the time caroling was getting close to be over I did not want it to stop. Although my voice was TOTALLY dying! I do recommend it for family and friends who want to get closer to each other, even if you or they cant hold a note.
